The sequential write speed is up to 2000 MB/s, while photographers will be happy to know that the sustained write speed is up to 1000 MB/s (after Turbowrite). The Samsung 1TB T9 Portable SSD now features a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port, delivering up to 20 Gb/s of max throughput. When it comes to the design, the T9 has curved diagonal lines and reverse carbon patterns, which gives its rubber surface a more fabric-like feel and a soft touch. Add low idle power consumption and reliable durability, and the T9 is ready to join in the field.
Note: To achieve maximum advertised speeds, please make sure your computer or host device is certified to support the 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 connection. Apple devices, including those with Thunderbolt/USB4, do not support 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and will be limited to 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2.

For sustained performance, the T9 has a write speed up to 1,000 MB/s (after Turbowrite) without any sudden performance drops, which is essential for high-end camera users.
